The Maltese Cardiac Society Conference Committee invites you to submit your work for presentation during the 2025 MCS Annual Scientific Meeting on 17th to 18th October 2025. This year we will accept 18 abstracts (consisting of original research or audit) and 6 case reports (showcasing interesting clinical vignettes highlighting an important educational point or a rare presentation or condition – within the field of cardiovascular medicine). Any attendee can upload submissions in both categories, and there is no limit to the number of submissions per attendee.

Submissions will be judged by a panel of academic doctors on the basis of originality, scientific content and relevance of main message.

Abstracts will be presented as an oral presentation during the main conference (6 to be chosen); the remaining abstracts will be presented as moderated posters outside the main auditorium. Submissions should preferably be organized under the following section headings: Aim, Introduction/Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion. Case reports will also be presented in a dedicated session in the main conference. Please ensure that the corresponding author or delegated person can attend the meeting in person on the day of the allotted time slot.

Certificates for best abstract and case report will be handed out at the end of the conference.

Make sure you enter the correct name and contact details for the corresponding author for future communication, and state clearly whether your submission is to be considered for the abstract or case report category.

Further instructions on the final format for presentation will be available closer to the conference date. The closing date for abstract submission is 19th September 2025.
